Sending emails and SMS

MoTo campaigns are Moto-payments where an Email and/or SMS is sent to one or more users and then can be tracked. You can set up a campaign for a single recipient or by uploading a file for a group of recipients. Each recipient is given the amount to pay and the link received by Email or SMS will be used to pay only once. Each recipient can be given a different amount.

In the section Payment Tools → MoTo Campaigns the active MoTo campaigns are listed.

Create MoTo campaign

You can set up a new campaign by clicking the New Moto Campaign button. This button will display a form to configure the campaign.

Moto campaigns

You will be able to configure the campaign by entering the following fields:

Campaign details.

  • Subject. Subject of the email the user will receive.
  • Description. Internal description of the campaign.
  • Payment service. Payment service to be used to pay for the campaign.
  • Shipping method. Select the sending method with which the campaign will be sent. Email / SMS or manual.
  • Expiration date. The date after which the payment link, sent through this campaign, will no longer be valid.

Campaign payments.

  • Entry method. Select the campaign mode either by Form to a single recipient or by File Upload to many recipients.
  • Amount. Amount in cents to be charged.
  • Destination. The Email or mobile number of the addressee will be indicated if it is SMS. If the sending method is manual, the corresponding value will be indicated.
  • Operating. If by AUTHORIZATION or DEFERRED.
  • Secure payment. We choose if we want secure payment or not.
  • External ID. External ID of the addressee that wants to put the commerce.
  • Additional. Free field for the merchant.
  • CardUUID. If the card is indicated, the user will not need to re-enter it.
  • URL to notify. URL to notify the result of the campaign processing.
  • URL in case of success. URL to be redirected in case of success.
  • URL in case of failure. URL to be redirected in case of failure.
  • Card template. Allows to select a card template if we have created one for it.
  • MoTo template. Allows to select a MoTo template if we have created one for it.
  • DCC Template. Allows to select a DCC template if we have created one for it.
  • Language. We indicate the language in which the sending will be communicated to the addressee.
  • Route. If the delivery method is through SMS, determines the routing of the SMS. It can be DIRECT or INDIRECT.

When selecting File upload you will be able to upload a file with multiple recipients configuring an amount and delivery method for each one of them.

Moto campaigns

If the campaign is processed by SMS or Email, you can activate the certificate of receipt/opening link, which allows you to check if the user has received the SMS/email, or accessed the payment link.

Download reception certificate

You can download the receipt certificate of a MoTo payment through its uuid. Available for MoTo campaigns via Email and SMS.

caution

Receipt/opening certificates will only be available if certification (with CERTIFIED field set to true) was configured in the campaign payments.

MoTo payments by API

This method allows you to make a payment for an order with the payment data obtained by mail or telephone. This operation will not require authentication, as it is a PSD2 exempt operation. Only usable by PCI customers.

If anti-fraud is activated, orders considered risky will be processed without any additional restriction.
