Payment services

Paylands allows merchants to connect multiple services as payment gateways. A payment service is a gateway of a particular provider and that Paylands makes available to the merchant for use in a transparent way and having solved the integration with it. In this way, the merchant can configure the gateways in an integrated way without having to worry about developments with the different providers.

We have a wide range of types of payment services that the merchant can request service activation according to their needs. In order to start selling it is necessary to configure at least one payment gateway for a type of service.

Processor vs Acquirer

A payment processor is a system that receives the authorizations and authentications of a transaction, organizes them and validates them against the different banks or issuing entities.

An acquirer is a financial institution licensed to collect, manage and move funds from a credit or debit card to a merchant's bank account. They are usually banks but may not be.

Paylands payment services are always owned by a processor and sometimes the processor is also an acquirer.

Payment service activation

If you wish to activate a particular service as a payment gateway, you can do so by using the Payment Service Activation Request Form that we have available.

After submitting the request, our team will review it and request additional information for the configuration of the requested services. Once the service is configured, it will be activated for use.
